Zinc Plating Services

Zinc electroplating is a cost-effective and reliable method of protecting metal components from corrosion. Through an electrochemical process known as galvanization, a layer of zinc is electrodeposited onto the surface of the component. This zinc layer acts as a sacrificial barrier, protecting the underlying metal from environmental exposure and oxidation.

To further enhance corrosion resistance and improve appearance, zinc plating is passivated. The type of passivation determines the final finish:

  • No Passivation – Basic zinc protection with a matte silver appearance.
  • Clear Passivation (Blue Tint) – Offers significantly improved corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, silvery finish.
  • Colour Passivation (Yellow) – Provides enhanced protection with a gold/yellow iridescent appearance, ideal for components needing both function and aesthetics.

We offer both rack plating for larger or more delicate items and barrel plating for high-volume small components, ensuring flexibility and cost-efficiency across a wide range of applications.
